GILMAN, Vt. - Paul Weston Lunnie, 80, of Jefferson Avenue died at
home Friday.
He was born in Concord, Vt., the son of Harold and Ruth (Crowell)
Lunnie.
He graduated from Concord (Vt.) High School in 1941.
He served in the 3rd Battalion, 26th Infantry, 1st Infantry
Division in the European Theatre during World War II, during which he
fought at the Normandy invasion, the Battle of the Buldge, Ardennes
and the Rhineland. He received the European African Middle Eastern
Theater Campaign ribbon with a Bronze Service Arrowhead and the
Bronze Star. His journal from Nov. 1, 1942, through June 2, 1945, was
recently published by Don Marby's historical text archive.
