BURLINGTON, Vt. -- Eleanor (Marston) Richards, 81, of South Hero,
Vt., and Palm Bay, Fla., and formerly of Loudon, died Saturday, Jan.
29, 2005, at Starr Farm Nursing Home in Burlington, Vt. after a long
illness.
She was born Aug. 21, 1923, in Loudon, the daughter of the late
John C. and Alice (Heywood) Marston. She was a 1943 graduate of the
University of New Hampshire.
When her daughters were in school, Eleanor was very active in her
church's Christian Education Ministry, and she was a Girl Scout
leader and a substitute teacher.
Since 1969, Eleanor had been one of the owners of Wilcox Cove
Cottages and Golf Course in Grand Isle, Vt. She and her husband had
