Eleanor Richards, BURLINGTON, Vt. -; Loudon native split time between Vermont, Florida

BURLINGTON, Vt. -- Eleanor (Marston) Richards, 81, of South Hero, Vt., and Palm Bay, Fla., and formerly of Loudon, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at Starr Farm Nursing Home in Burlington, Vt. after a long illness.

She was born Aug. 21, 1923, in Loudon, the daughter of the late John C. and Alice (Heywood) Marston. She was a 1943 graduate of the University of New Hampshire.

When her daughters were in school, Eleanor was very active in her church's Christian Education Ministry, and she was a Girl Scout leader and a substitute teacher.

Since 1969, Eleanor had been one of the owners of Wilcox Cove Cottages and Golf Course in Grand Isle, Vt. She and her husband had been dividing their time between ...
