Winnipesaukee is an amazing lake. It's amazing how chaotic it is. There are days when it feels like the midway at a carnival.

Something needs to be done, but the answer isn't a speed limit. An irresponsible operator can kill someone just as easily going less than 45 mph as he or she can at 60.

For too long, the only qualification someone needed to operate a boat was the money to buy it. That is being addressed finally. Too bad you can't legislate common sense.
