HILLSBORO -- George Arthur McNally, 70, died Monday, April 25, 2005.

He was born in Deering on Sept. 11, 1934, the son of George Arthur and Lillian (McAdams) McNally.

He was a lifelong resident of the Hillsboro-Deering area.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mr. McNally graduated from New England College in 1959 and went on to own and operate Tasker's Clothing Stores in Hillsboro and Peterborough until his retirement in 1991.

He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, advisory board for the Bank of New Hampshire, Bakers Foundation, Moose Club, American Legion, and he served on various committees appointed by the selectmen for downtown revitalization. Mr. McNally was one of the original ...
