I love pizza. I will eat just about any type, whether it's round
or rectangular; thin crust, deep dish or French bread; frozen or
fresh. Just hold the anchovies or any other animal found in the
ocean. I come by my love of pizza naturally. My mother is a pizza
fiend. Her favorite dinner out in my Missouri hometown is the local
pizza buffet on Tuesday nights. She even enjoyed the pie she had in
Rome that came hot from the oven with a raw egg cracked in the
middle, a common practice in Italy.
My favorite is a fresh, homemade pizza. In the beginning, I
started with store-bought dough and jarred pizza sauce. I have since
ventured into making my own crust and sauce.
