Same old Phil Rowe.Same optimism, same upbeat tempo, same conviction that the fingerprint he left on his old college basketball team will eventually pay dividends.

And now, nearly a year after his departure, it looks like he might have been right.

From Rowe's angle, the current University of New Hampshire men's basketball team, a surprising 6-6 in league play thus far, features his boys, his recruits, and you can't take that away from him.

Rowe is keenly aware of this fact from his perch as an assistant coach under Karl Hobbs at George Washington University, ranked eighth nationally and unbeaten in the Atlantic-10 Conference.
