BOSTON - He's been in the league for two years and 150 games. He's
seen Kobe Bryant score 81 points, he's played against All-Stars and
superstars and he's stayed in five-star hotels from coast-to-coast.
So, Matt Bonner, is this NBA stuff pass? Is the awe gone?
"No way. Not even close," Bonner said. "It's still awesome."
As he spoke those words Bonner looked down the corridor leading
from his Toronto Raptors locker room out onto the court at the TD
Banknorth Garden last night. He grinned a little and then grinned
some more.
The kid from Concord is still living the dream.
Bonner's smiles were smaller after the game. His Raptors faded
down the stretch and the Celtics pulled away for a 110-96 ...
