After a U.S. Senate hearing Tuesday, Sen. Maria Cantwell said she's worried another fatal fire like that at Thirtymile could happen again this year.

She doesn't believe the Forest Service has solved the problems that got four Central Washington firefighters killed in July.

The hearing - focusing on Forest Service preparedness for the 2002 fire season - ended up being, as Cantwell put it, "contentious."
