When Carolyn Hursh of Selah stepped into a Mountain Aire fifth
wheel at the RV show in the Yakima Valley SunDome on Friday, she used
just two words to describe its opulence.
"Taj Mahal."
The 35-foot, burnished-tan fifth wheel gleamed inside as well as
out. After climbing steps attached to a small porch, Hursh ran her
fingers over cream-colored Corian countertops, plopped into a plush
recliner and tweaked knobs on the flat-screen television.
"You could entertain in here," she said.
The 2003 RV Show, now in its second year, features dozens of
recreational vehicles, from Elkhorn campers to the palatial Mountain
Aire fifth wheels, from the pricey and ultra-luxurious Alpine Coach
