Everybody gets a chance on Pullman's girls basketball team.
"I play all 12 kids," said Greyhounds' coach Jack Brossman, "and
every single night somebody different steps up."
Angela Muehling seized her opportunity on Friday and, thanks to a
big spark from the little 5-foot-5 junior guard, Pullman will play
for the Class 2A state championship tonight - the girls first such
appearance in school history.
Muehling came off the bench and had the game of her life - a
career-high five 3-pointers and 17 points - and the surprising
Greyhounds, who have only two seniors, claimed a 48-40 semifinal
victory over Connell.
"Five, wow, that's the most I've ever had. I think maybe two was
