What's in a logo?
For apples, it's not clear anymore.
Consider the familiar Washington apple logo, that perfectly
shaped, bright red ready-for-the-teacher symbol of the state's First
Fruit.
Soon, it will become something of an ambassador without portfolio.
The industry's trademark since the early 1980s, the apple logo
technically won't have a home at the Washington Apple Commission much
longer.
