SUNNYSIDE HIGH SCHOOL
Karla Mancinas had her heart set on walking down the aisle during
graduation with her twin brother Adrian. But she did something her
brother didn't: She finished her senior project.
"I (didn't) get to walk with my brother - and that's a big deal to
me," Karla Mancinas said.
The twins' situation wasn't the norm at Sunnyside High School. All
of the seniors who completed a senior project graduated last Friday.
Still, some students say the process was confusing, and that the
projects shouldn't have counted for so much of their grades this
year.
