Article: Foster Parents Love Kids but Loathe System

Foster parents aren't in it for the money -- in most cases they pay out of their own pockets to temporarily house the kids they take in.

But that doesn't mean they're willing to be abused by a system that -- at its worst -- takes kids away from foster families for unjust reasons and threatens foster parents' careers by allowing kids to make false allegations at will, parents told their state representatives Monday.
