Article: Dr. Theodor F. Naumann

YAKIMA - Dr. Theodor F. Naumann was born in Essen, Germany on August 15, 1918, and died December 2, 2004, in Yakima, Washington. He was the oldest of five brothers and was raised in Wattensheid, Germany by his parents Theodor and Johanna Naumann.

Theodor worked as an aeronautical engineer and married Christel in 1949. Within a week they were on their way to Portland, Oregon on a church scholarship. Theodor studied theology and majored in psychology at Warner Pacific Bible College. Soon after earning his doctorate in psychology from Oregon State University, he was recruited by Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington as a professor of psychology.
