How does Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy continue to do it?
Quietly, ever so quietly.
Leave the fanfare for others. All Dungy does is win.
Dungy is 119-62 five games into his 12th season as an NFL coach,
including a 65-20 record with Indianapolis, highlighted by the Super
Bowl XLI win.
Dungy is 5-0 this season, becoming the first AFC coach to start 5-
0 in three consecutive seasons.
The Colts, who face Jacksonville on Monday night, are a combined
20-1 to open their last five seasons. The only loss during that
stretch came to New England in the 2004 opener.
"We've been fortunate that we've gotten off to good starts. But
it's not the norm," Dungy said recently.
