Article: Victoria Square centre will make Belfast top shopping destination

The prediction came from Simon Power, managing consultant for
Scotland and Ireland at the California Analysis Centre Incorporated
(CACI).
He was speaking at a presentation last week at a conference
organised in Belfast by the Northern Ireland Region of Shopping
Centres.
Mr Power said that the opening of Victoria Square - scheduled for
next March - would strengthen Belfast's position at number one in
the Northern Ireland rankings.
He said: "Victoria Square will lift Belfast by three places in
the UK retail rankings from 30 to 27, putting it above Brent Cross,
Aberdeen and Watford."
