Alexandria skipper locks up fifth title of year

West River Sailing Club member Barney Harris completed a clean sweep of all the major Albacore regattas by capturing the International Championship, held last week on the Chesapeake Bay.

Harris, a resident of Alexandria, Va., notched four bullets and a pair of seconds in seven races in posting a low score of eight points. Harris, who had longtime crew member David Byron aboard, finished 15 points ahead of the United Kingdom entry of Chris Turner and Simon Maguire.
