AMERICAN UNIVERSITY PARK-FRIENDSHIP HEIGHTS
ANC 3E
The ANC at its Sept. 9 meeting did the following:
- Voted to support an application to the Board of Zoning
Adjustment by Paul and Judy Rae for a variance from side yard
restrictions to allow construction of an addition to a single-family
house at 4013 Van Ness St. NW.
- Voted to support an application to the Historic Preservation
Review Board by the Art Deco Society of Washington for historic
landmark designation for the old Sears building at 4500 Wisconsin
Ave. NW.
- Voted to approve continuation of the ANC's current level of
spending until its fiscal 1994 budget is approved later this year.
