Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre stepped up to the fantastic
opportunities of "Don Quixote" to open its season in superb form
with a delightful production of a classic ballet.
The company made news last Wednesday by announcing a balanced
budget for the 2006-07 season and a slew of other positive financial
information, as well as new contracts with its artists. The
performance of "Don Quixote" Saturday night at the Benedum Center,
Downtown, showed the company is up for another significant
announcement made Wednesday -- that recent tours have been
profitable and the company has signed with Columbia Artists
Management for more touring.
