HUNTINGTON - Forget about finding Waldo. Where's Lance?
That's the big question at Marshall University.
Where, oh where, is Athletic Director Lance West?
Is he holed up in his office here on Third Avenue like
Punxsutawney Phil on a gloomy Groundhog's Day? Is he busy working on
his master's degree? Is he purposely keeping a low profile for some
inexplicable reason?
I don't know.
But I do know West hasn't been where MU's athletic director should
have been during the month of March.
When Marshall advanced to the Mid-American Conference basketball
tournament during the first week of March, seven of the eight
athletic directors were in Cleveland with their participating teams.
