He drove in the winning run with two out in the top of the last
inning, and then turned the game-ending double play at shortstop that
preserved his own pitching victory.
Drew Hines might have a better night left during his junior season
on Charleston Catholic High's baseball team, but it will have to be
one heck of a Prom.
"It wasn't a one-man show, but he sure made it look like it was,"
said Fighting Irish Coach Bill Mehle.
With Jake Mehle on first with two out in the top of the seventh,
Hines smacked a double to right field that broke a 1-all tie.
