PITTSBURGH - The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission extended the
review period for an environmental impact study on the last section
of the Mon-Fayette Expressway.
Critics have complained that the standard 75-day public review
period, which began May 31, is inadequate for the 17 pounds of
documents associated with the last section of roadway.
