Nitro wrestlers set for season: Wildcats gunning for top-five finish at state tournament

Nitro High School's wrestling team finished just out of the top
five in Class AAA at last year's state tournament.
With a handful of individual state title contenders back on the
mat this season, plus a full team of wrestlers for the first time in
six years, the Wildcats should be knocking on that top-five door once
again.
Nitro finished seventh last year.
"We've got them (weight classes) all filled but that doesn't mean
we'll be real good in all of them," said longtime Nitro Coach Steve
White.
But they'll be good in many of them. Very good.
