After a five year absence, Charleston area seafood lovers will
once again be able to enjoy some of their favorite foods at a new Red
Lobster restaurant set to open later this year at Southridge Centre.
"Our tentative start date for construction will be in May," said
Wendy Spirduso, director of communications for Red Lobster. "We are
hoping to have the restaurant open by October."
The new restaurant will feature a prototype design called the
Coastal Home look. "It's very open, very bright - a seaside retreat
look," Spirduso said. "It's a new look for Red Lobster we're really
