A month before Phillip Frye filed for a divorce, his wife, Angela
Mascia-Frye, was the only Development Office official accompanying
Gov. Bob Wise to Detroit on the state's airplane.
Mascia-Frye and Wise were the only people on the state plane for
the March 2-5 trip, records show, except for the state troopers
assigned to protect the governor and the plane's pilots.
Another Development Office official, Bill Turner, was scheduled to
fly on the governor's plane with the group. At the last minute,
however, Turner changed his schedule to fly to Detroit commercially
before Wise and Mascia-Frye planned to leave.
