Article: World Changers to help renovate homes

To at least one group of teenagers, summer means more than soaking in sunrays or taking a trip to the nearest beach.

A gathering of 350 junior high and high school students will visit Charleston from June 28 to July 5 to pound nails, repair roofs and hang drywall. As part the World Changers program, the teen-agers will spend a week in the Capital City renovating low-income neighborhoods.
