Article: Love for basketball.....priceless, Morgantown's Benson travels far and wide hoping for exposure

MORGANTOWN - Tyler Benson is not just some 17-year-old spending the summer without a job. The currency Benson, a senior-to-be at Morgantown High, receives for his sweat and exertion is, however, rather peculiar. Benson is being paid in dribbles and miles.

"You've got to love this game," Benson said Friday night.

He spoke several minutes after arriving at the Summer Jam Fest, an all-male AAU tournament presented by The Hoop Group and being held at West Virginia University.

About 50 teams are participating in three age groups from 15-and- under to open at the WVU Student Recreation Center and the Coliseum.
