Politicians usually don't agree on much of anything.
But one point on which the Legislature seems to have come to a
broad consensus: the New England Patriots are going to whip the
Carolina Panthers in Sunday's Super Bowl.
"I think the Patriots are going to tear them to shreds," said
Senate Minority Leader Vic Sprouse, R-Kanawha. "31-7, something like
that. I think they're just going to kill them."
The Patriots, led by coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom
Brady, are seven-point favorites over the Panthers, a team that rose
from National Football League obscurity.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Sunday in Houston.
