Jeff Gordon, driver of the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet,
certainly knows how to jump-start a championship season.
He has wins at Talladega, Ala., and Fontana, Calif., earlier in
the year, but would readily admit he's had his fair share of ups and
downs when things weren't going well.
And even though he has the most wins this season with four, the
critics at times forget his stellar performances, especially with
lackluster outings such as the one he suffered through at Charlotte
this past May.
But as of late, he's enjoying some good times.
All you have to do is simply look at his performances the past two
weeks to realize that he and his Robbie Loomis-led crew ...
