TIME - and a full date book - apparently heal all wounds. After
months of raking Gov. Bob Wise over the coals, Phillip "Icky" Frye
has thought of something nice to say about the man he claims ruined
his marriage.
"In a small way, I might even owe Bob Wise a small thank-you,"
said Frye, who alleged in his divorce last year that Wise had an
affair with his wife, state economic development official Angela
Mascia.
Frye says he's happy to be swimming in the dating pool again and
is doing better than he has in years.
"Things are great," Frye said last week from his home in eastern
Kanawha County. "I kind of wonder why I ever got married in the first
place."
