Political primaries are of secondary importance to Wall Street
right now.
That was obvious on Wednesday. After a poor showing in the
Republican primary in New Hampshire by President Bush the day
before, the stock market opened with little reaction the next day.
And instead of panicking over the misfortune of a president who
is very popular in the investment community, Wall Street just
shrugged and went on to worry about the usual things - like what
Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan was going to say to Congress
that day.
So when will Wall Street start worrying about President Bush's
fate?
