The Great American Weight Loss Challenge will stop in Charleston
Thursday through Saturday as part of a 75-city tour encouraging
people to sign up for a 12-week plan that provides the tools to lose
weight in a healthy way.
Sponsored by the nation's milk processors and dairy farmers, the
event consists of free wellness events and research information that
shows a connection between milk and weight loss.
The event kicks off 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Charleston Town
Center, where people may sign up for the Great American Weight Loss
Challenge. The city with the most participants will win $25,000 for
health-related community improvements and be featured in a milk
mustache ad to run nationally ...
