Chesney performs for sold-out crowd
Kenny Chesney, country music's top male vocalist of the year, will
entertain a sold-out crowd at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Charleston
Civic Center.
The "Somewhere in the Sun" tour will include Gretchen Wilson and
Pat Green.
The Tennessee native's career has soared since the introduction of
his album "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem," that went quadruple
platinum.
Chesney's single from that CD, "The Good Stuff," was named 2002
Billboard and the Academy of Country Music's single of the year. The
CD "When the Sun Goes Down, released in 2004, has gone triple
platinum.
He is set to release "The Road & The Radio," in November.
