Some Mountaineer fans have a cheesy way of showing their loyalty
to the team: boycotting Papa John's Pizza.
A company spokeswoman is good-natured about it and said she hopes
Papa John's will be back in good graces with the WVU faithful on
Friday.
WVU and Louisville face off tonight in Louisville at Papa John's
Cardinal Stadium. Papa John's is headquartered in Louisville and
company founder John Schnatter donated $5 million for naming rights
to the new stadium in 1997. Card fans call it "The Oven."
Charleston attorney Tom Kleeh and his friends had planned to
protest by taking West Virginia pizzas Dicarlo's and Husson's to Papa
John's Cardinal Stadium.
