A contributor to a local Internet bulletin board, not known for his bleeding heart liberal views, felt the way many of us did when we read of the atrocity in Logan County where a young black woman was tortured for a week, allegedly at the hands of six white people.

He said he first heard the story while he was traveling as part of his job in Virginia
