YOU would think few people could object to the creation of a sexual health strategy for Scotland, what with dramatic increases in sexually transmitted infections (STIs), widespread attitudes of acceptance of sexual violence and prejudice, and some of the highest rates of teenage pregnancy in Western Europe.

Writing in the Sunday Herald earlier this month, however, Archbishop Mario Conti argued that the draft sexual health strategy is a sign of Scotland's "anti-life" culture.
