Dampada village (Orissa), March 10 -- It was special moment for the fifteen tribal couples of Orissa when they became husband and wife by tying the nuptial knot during a mass marriage ceremony held in a remote village here on Thursday.
The marriage ceremony was organised in Dampada village of Malkangiri district, infamous for being the worst-hit as rebels on a number of occasions vandalise homes, blow up railway tracks, kidnap and kill villagers, and even attack police stations. Thus, the ceremony was organised under the supervision of many security personnel.
