For the second month in a row, Queensborough Community College Poetry Slam students win the Intercollegiate Poetry Slam at the Bowery Poetry Club.
Poetry Slam is the competitive art of performance poetry. It puts a dual emphasis on writing and performance, encouraging poets to focus on what they're saying and how they're saying it. The Poetry Slam Team Members of Queensborough Community College are young and determined. Grace Perez won the $100 prize and added to the points for the College team.
