Article: Commercial Branding Stamps to be Tested by Postal Service

WASHINGTON, March 13 - Will your utility bill come with a bolt of lightning or the veterinarian bill with a golden retriever logo in the top right corner instead of a regular stamp? It could if a two-year Postal Service project that starts on March 20 proves successful.

The Postal Service is looking for commercial enterprises interested in participating in its expanded test on customized postage. Those interested in participating must be an authorized postage provider or have an affiliation with one, or a meter manufacturer. They will be charged a fee for participation.
