The California Democratic Party has formally requested that the Office of Attorney General Bill Lockyer begin an investigation into numerous complaints of voter registration fraud by the California Republican Party, the Orange County Republican Central Committee, the San Bernardino County Republican Central Committee, and two of its vendors and/or agents Tom Bader and Associates and/or Tom Burkett Petition Management.
