Article: Sloppy reporting and recycling policy

OVER the past few years, I've dedicated a lot of ink in this column responding to misinformation put forth by journalists and persons from ivory tower think tanks. By relegating myself to the role of recycling cop, however, I am in danger of being perceived as a recycling zealot who fervently criticizes anyone who says anything negative about recycling. Plus, I thereby foster an environment where these peddlers of misinformation guide the course of discussion in our industrY.
