The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation issued the following news release:
Boston's inaugural Run to Remember will be held this weekend Sunday, March 12, 2006.
Several road closings in Boston and Cambridge will take place on Sunday to accommodate the race's projected 4,000 runners.
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, March 12, there will be no parking on Memorial Drive eastbound and westbound, from 1 Memorial Drive to 450 Memorial Drive and from 980 Memorial Drive to Mt. Auburn Street. This ban will be effective until 12:00 p.m. There will also be no parking allowed at the yacht clubs on the eastbound side of Memorial Drive.
