Florida International University, a component of the state university system, issued the following news release:

Florida International University's School of Architecture has received full accreditation for its Interior Design program from the Council of Interior Design Accreditation.

The Council, formerly the Foundation for Interior Design Education Research (FIDER), provides the foundation for excellence in the interior design profession by setting standards for education and accrediting academic programs that meet those standards.
