WASHINGTON, March 22 -- Rep. Alcee L. Hastings, D-Florida, has introduced a bill (H.R. 4966), legislation that would "require the President to include a line item regarding the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board in the budget submitted pursuant to title 31, U.S. Code."
The bill, introduced on March 16, is being co-sponsored by Reps. Jane Harman, D-California, Silvestre Reyes, D-Texas, Leonard Boswell, D-Iowa, Bud Cramer, D-Alabama, Anna Eshoo, D-California, Rush Holt, D-New Jersey, Dutch Ruppersberger, D-Maryland, and John F.
