Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark., issued the following news release:

Gov. Huckabee has appointed the following people to state boards and commissions:

* Jane Rogers of Little Rock to the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas. Rogers, the director of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, will serve until March 1, 2016. She's reappointed.

* Dr. Jerri Fant of North Little Rock to the Breast Cancer Control Advisory Board. Fant, an employee of the Surgical Clinic of Central Arkansas, will serve until Jan. 1, 2007. She replaces Robert Janes.

* Carol Davis of Malvern to the State Board of Disease Intervention Specialists. Davis, a public health investigator for the Department of Health and ...
