The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Attorney's office for the District of Columbia issued the following press release:
A local criminal defense attorney, Celicia Hoover-Hankerson, has been sentenced to 35 months in prison on charges related to her role in a conspiracy to defraud the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, announced United States Attorney Kenneth L. Wainstein and Joseph Persichini, Jr., Acting Assistant Director in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Washington Field Office.
