Mangalore, Mar 29 -- The district will seek involvement of private hospitals to provide good medical facilities in primary health centres (PHCs) and community health centres (CHCs) in the district, said Deputy Commissioner Dr H V Parshwanath. Speaking after inaugurating a training programme for various department heads as part of the district-level "National rural health campaign" jointly organised by the Zilla Panchayat and Health & Family Welfare Department here on Tuesday, he said if all the medical colleges in the district adopt a minimum of three PHCs, then all the PHCs and CHCs in the district can have very good medical facilities.
