Article: COMMISSIONER BRENNAN ENCOURAGES MORE NEW YORK STATE FOOD IN NEW YORK STATE SCHOOLS

The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets issued the following news release:

New York State Agriculture Commissioner Patrick H. Brennan announced a collaborative effort between the Pride of New York Program and the State's Farm-to-School Program. In doing so, he encouraged more New York grown and processed food products in New York State schools.

"New York State produces an abundance of healthy foods that are perfect for any school cafeteria menu," the Commissioner said.
