The city of Fort Collins issued the following news release:
The City of Fort Collins has been invited by ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability to host their Western States Regional Capacity Center Office at City facilities. Fort Collins was selected over several other Colorado cities because the City has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and commitment to community sustainability and climate protection. Margit Hentschel, formerly the City's Environmental Manager for nine years, will be heading up the office as its Regional Director.
