Article: ULSD, New Engines Generate Concern Within Truck Leasing, Renting Industry

Truck rental and leasing firms, some of the nation's most robust purchasers of trucking equipment, said they will stage their annual meeting in San Diego March 29-April 1 and begin grappling with ultra-low-sulfur diesel fuel and its effect on the new trucks coming out in January, as well as those coming out in 2010.

A spokeswoman for the Truck Renting and Leasing Association said its March 30 morning session will feature a panel discussion on maintenance issues concerning the new fuel and engines.
